NEW SCUD RAP BY THE GREAT LUKE SKI!!
May it sell out like the iPhone!
Fuuuuuuck yeah. Heh heh. That new song is the shizz. I love the pure reference-heaviness of it. Sorta serves perfectly as an advert for the new book (which is also great, considering it starts with the ol’ Scud spot from issue 2) Someone’s gotta put some video to this. It’s awesome.
I picked it up today. I can’t wait to fill myself in on that whole TPB worth of issues I was never able to find, plus the slasher/beach genre issue of the Horse series.
Also, Kate wrote a very sweet introduction.
My comic shop has this in tommrow for the grand price of £20 (paperback).
I plan to buy it, read it and possible rub myself against it. Not sure yet.
Hey Rob,
Is there any way you will sell original artwork over the web? I completely forgot my sketch book at the san fran con awhile back, and am now completely beside myself for my forgetfulness. Thanks,
Hey Rob, thanks for putting up the song here! MC Griffin, thanks for the words of praise! I’m working on a music video for my “Scud” song now for the Fan Film contest. The entries already submitted are go great, it’ll be hard to live up to them, but I’ll give it a shot. And yes, I picked up my Scud Shebang Omnibus in Milwaukee today. That sucker’s HEAVY! Have fun at Comic-Con, Rob, and thanks again for everything!

I got my copy this afternoon and I just finished it.
It was absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much for making this available to all of us and thank you from the bottom of my heart for resuming and finishing this incredible piece of graphic literature.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve got cooking Mr. Schrab.
I know it’s going to be great.
Does anyone know what the differences are between the HC and the TPB? I want to buy one of them but can’t find a definitive list of any special features to the HC anywhere….and it’s about $50 more expensive.
It’s a limited edition. The only thing different is the HC.
Thanks Rob!
I just picked up my TPB. I love it. There’s so much you do with artwork here, I never thought of.
Rob
The collection is beautiful. I love it.

Threw up a new vlog with some Jeff stuff. Apologies for the terrible sound quality:

looks great pat!
i can’t wait to see the trailer man.
also, the whole shebang is a freakin BRICK. the print quality is amazing tho. best scud has ever looked i personally think.
Amazing!
Rob, thank you so much for finishing this thing. It’s really awesome having the entire series “together” finally. Inspiring as always!
Any thoughts on getting Tales from the Vending Machine / LCN collected? I know the latter’s waiting on Harmon, but I’d love to see Tales pop up again… perhaps booted back up for some new issues?
Great stuff!
i’d really love to see tales booted up again.
imagine mike allred or paul popes take on it. that’d be awesome.
doubt it’ll ever happen due to the split rights of scud tho
I’m loving it!! Total stole it from my Boy-friend and just can’t stop reading, but what happened to all the stuff between the Mr. Tough guy competitions and scud being captured by Voodoo Ben??? We’re missing’ the ending of 12 and the beginning of 13?
Is that intentional?
What? I gave my copy away before reading it through. Guys, is this true?
Wut? It’s all here in my copy.
I think the flashback to Sussudio and Ben is throwing Sheed-o off, maybe?
Hey Rob, I’m looking forward to seeing the collection all together! Is there any chance of you selling signed copies through your website?
Nope. Sorry. Try amazon!
I don’t know…there is realy no flash back….it’s just Oswald getting ready to take out the Patriot’s target, and then the next page is VooDoo bitching at System about something, then the next page is DryWall unzipped. I’m sure I’m missing all of chapter 13…there is no transition…i’ve e-mailed you a photo…
I must be off my rocker!
Just my copy of the hardcover in the mail last night. Felt like a teenager again getting my first copy of Scud #1.
There are far and few things that evoke that kind of childhood giddyness from me in this day and age, but you’ve done it, and I couldn’t help but get nostalgic when I started reading the book all over again.
One thing of note that I was disappointed for, you kept the covers, but didn’t keep the intro pages of the books. The pages where you wrote out your “Suggested Soundtrack” and “Suggested Cast”. Also missing was the cliff notes for Jeff, on where his movie quotes were from.
Guess it’s a good thing I have all the old books as well, but the hardcover is just beautiful.
Lastly, your portrait on the back with the “About the Author” that’s a nice touch.
i just got my hardcover in and DAMN they didn’t skimp on production values at ALL with this. Amazing binding on this baby.
it looks great rob.
man you must feel accomplished. must be a great year for you! congrats once again.
Hey Rob,
any chance of the yellow heartbreaker shirt making it to one more run?
Hi, Rob
I finally got my HC shebang and it is amazing!!!! It took me a little while to save up the money (kids come first) but boy was it worth it. I even had the comic shop guy calling me wondering if i was still going to buy it.
Now i have it and i feel like a kid again, ill tell you though, i have been reading some monthly comics since Scud ended and i did not realize how plain and still the characters look. They look like they are always poseing but Scud is full of motion, its amazing, it looks like each panel is a freeze frame of scud actually in motion, i wish more comics had this much energy and excitment!!!
Since you probly wont be doing any more comics (too time consuming) i can just hope that more people are inspired by your work and we can see more amazing orignal work.
Thank you Rob,
Brandon
