Program him for Damage, designated to die
discontinue to series if the series says why.

The wife thought that was adorable, and I enjoyed it too! You're definately right that youve improved in every way, still your character shows a bit of the style you seem to have in the other movies in your sight and the character is detailed and well done! The animation is pretty damn sweet considering youre not pixar, so I'm not sure why youre down on yourself about that! Both art teachers give you a thumbs up and we cant wait to see more from you -maybe a few Shrek films down the line!

I believe once something's released to the public, my talking about it is fair game. I'm a little fuzzier on whether that means I can display it personally. Mostly, I'm just trying to be safe.

I really haven't done anything so glamorous yet that you'd have seen it and 90% of my work has been with one place that's only publicly released one thing I've done. You can see it here:

Second video down.

But that was almost a year ago that I began work on that thing and my skillset in all areas has improved exponentially. Not a great showcase.

Pat are you even allowed to talk about the things youve done?

Like if you did a commercial for something... are you allowed to say that you did it or are you like removed entirely from it once they pay you?

If you are able to say in text what youve done, Im sure we wouldnt be the only people curious! We're both (my wife and I) art teachers so that might explain our curiosity!

I'm involved with a 24-hour live streaming audio internet all comedy music station called Dementia Radio (dot org). A friend of mine who goes by the handle Break Man Z was D.J.ing live the other night, and after playing my "Scud" song, did an impromtu review of "The Whole Shebang", which he had just picked up at his local comic shop. You can hear other fan/friends of mine in the background chiming in with comments via Skype. Here's the review, posted courtesy of another friend, WildCard:

Hey thats a great second contest! even I can draw, maybe we can all submit TFTVMs in PDF forms here like that other person did... (pretty cool job by the way! I like having Scud be a video game controlled assassin -that was clever!)

I have a story I wrote for "Tales Of The Vending Machine" starring Scud Lite back in '97. So I would be all for the return of TFTVM and/or the Scud Fan Film contest becoming annual, so I can finally tell that story. I hope that if the latter happens, Rob lets us know about it super-early so I (and everybody else) have more time to work on our entries. I also hope we'd get up to 10 minutes for our entries. I know that goes against the Channel 101 / Acceptable TV philosophy, I just suspect I wouldn't be able to adequately tell the story in under three minutes, but I could in under ten and have time for closing credits at the end.

Speaking of closing credits, since my music video didn't have any, I should mention that the Scud Jingle music was done by Chris Mezzolesta of the comedy band Power Salad, who also sang vocals on it along with myself and my good friend and frequent Luke Ski song vocalist Carrie Dahlby. Any artwork that wasn't obviously directly from the Scud comics was done by myself, along with everything else that encompasses the song/video, under a budget of about $13.

Rob, you have created a monster. :D

Hey, Alex. Yeah, it gets a little delicate talking about work... I think there's only one thing I've done so far in my professional career that I'm even allowed to use in my portfolio, and I don't even really want to. I am very much still starting out though, still trying to "break in." I'm good with modeling and lighting but still have to work on my animation before I'm anywhere even approaching a place like Pixar. I appreciate the encouragement, guys.
