One more question on the Hardcover, are you only releasing it to a limited audience? Or is this something I should be able to go down to my local shop and pick up (Or at least order from).

I just wanted to make sure it's not going to be a conference exclusive or something.

Can't wait to pick it up. :D

Rob, I saw a link for the Omni-bus posted, a July 24th release, for 19.99? That's ridiculous for the value you receive.

But more importantly, it was soft-cover only, are there no plans to release a Hardcover edition that so many of us want so bad?

For a comparison I was looking at the offerings of Jeff Smith with Bone, which was printed in a 1332 page book which retailed for twice what you are asking for a approx. 750 page book, and also launched with a hardcover edition.

What are the plans going forward? Are you seriously letting it go for so cheap? Lastly, please reconsider at least a limited hardcover release. :(

Has anyone else seen Southland Tales. I only bring it up because the catch phrase of #22( which was utterly awesome) "I'm a cowboy, and I'll never quit" reminds me of Tales' "I'm a pimp and pimps don't commit suicide."

Intense issue, Rob. I loved every page. It was surprising to see Jeff suddenly start spouting catch phrases from works you've done throughout your career (I won't spoil where they're from for people who don't know. They'll have to dig through your oeuvre to find out for themselves, but I will say that the intonation and delivery of "Where's the Mountain Dew" is so classic that I can hear it in my head as if it were coming through speakers).

Can't wait for the last two issues, but now that we have Scud back after so long, it will be bitter-sweet to have an end to new Scud tales.

The biggest shock for me was Drywall turning into a complete badass. I never really paid attention to the fact he was a kid back in the day, and therefore could change so much in 10 years. And I second Patrick's praise for "VD Ben's" long-awaited demise...total douche-bag. BTW, what does "IHR" stand for? It was inscribed on the sword used by one of the Seraphim in #20 to dismember Sussudio.

Well done Rob, and I can't thank you enough for this fantastic series.
