Let me just say thanks Rob. Your interview really helped me out (and a friend I linked it to) the other day.

Great interview, and if you do decide to go with an initial Hardcover release, I wouldn't doubt it would sell quickly.

Personally I would be anal and buy 2, one to read through and one to just sit pristine on my shelf of stuff that I bought and just admire. (also the fact that my fiancee' would like her own helps...)

Your advice on starting things today instead of tomorrow is really an age old adage, but seriously, hearing it again and again can't drive home the point enough. Especially coming from someone that I look up to in life. You've followed your dreams and made it happen, a better story there is not.

Man, your posts keep getting better and better.
Keep up the good work!
I can't wait to see HV and Jack in theaters.

Would you want to direct it?

I always thought the scud toy on the issue 9 cover would have been the obvious model.

Just got through reading the whole interview. You are dead on about jumping on Shocker Toys for not releasing the product. If they don't come through, pull the rights back and get another company to do it.

Loved the part about getting to something started today. I live by that rule everyday.

Heh. I just spent the last few months working on my biggest animation project ever, having no free time, getting no sleep, and being terrified it wouldn't be in on time, and now that it's finished, I read your interview and now I want to immediately get back to writing my comic book.

That was such an uplifting and positive read. I have to say, its good to know your life is going so great and the effect it is having on the stuff your working on. (and vice versa) Like the guy who interviewed you, I'm definitely taking the bit on finishing what you start to heart. A friend and I started working on a short film last year and thus far we've only filmed about three usable minutes. *shrug*

I was one of those fans who waited in line to meet you at the San Diego Con. The kid with the religious family who wants me to be a missionary. My friend loved you and Kate's reaction to when I told you that...

Wow. That was definitely the most introspective interview I've read of yours. The tale of why you did Scud in the 1st place is something I can definitely identify with. Not on the same level, of course. I don't have a creative bone in my body, but I won't bore you with the specifics. Actually, I identify with A LOT of the life experiances you described, and the things you said...

Haha, a cynical side of me kind of wants to see that original ending you had planned. Not that I want Scud to end that way, but it would be kind cool just to see it. Sort of like a 'What If?' kind of thing. And yeah, I'd definitely agree that the big book is the best way to go. I think it's safe to say that that's what all the fans want. A hardcover would be awesome. Image should totally do that.

Well, My back issues just came in the mail today, so I'm gonna go do some reading now. Thanks again for Scud #21! I can't wait to finally see it. I'm also interested in what this painted page you referred to is... and, "go out with a bang"? Is Scud gonna self-destruct?
