Especially coming from someone that I look up to in life. You've followed your dreams and made it happen, a better story there is not. (and vice versa) Like the guy who interviewed you, I'm definitely taking the bit on finishing what you start to heart. I don't have a creative bone in my body, but I won't bore you with the specifics. Actually, I identify with A LOT of the life experiances you described, and the things you said...
