Holy crap, I didn’t know you and Harmon wrote that! I got the DVD for my little boy, and I haven’t really watched it all the way through, but he loves it. He’s only 2 and he hides his face when Buscemi’s character comes on because he gets scared.
Congratulations! It’s interesting to me that Zemeckis and Spielberg made it, because it had kind of a “Goonies” feel to it from what I watched. Is that what you were going for in the script?
On a side note, I was looking at IMDB under cast and crew and I noticed there was 7 names under “make-up department”. For an animated movie? Can anyone explain that to me? I think those big shot Hollywood types could learn a thing or two from Channel 101 about keeping costs down.
well rob, sorry it didn’t win. i thought it was the better of the films, cars was alright, but i have seen monster house a few times and i love it. Hopefully your next endeavour will be more widely appreciated.
Hell Yes!!!! Way to go!!!
ZOMG!
It was nominated for best writing I hope.
Best Animated Feature. Up Against Happy Feet and Cars.
It so deserves to win. Against Happy Feet most definatly. I hate those goodamned penguins.
That’s awesome news Rob!
so uh… is it true that Shocker Toys is going to make a six inch Scud figure?!
Hell yeah man. Congrats on that one, Monster House deserved it.
...so are the suits all over you yet, throwing bags of money at you?
