Out of curiosity, when you’re directing your mother do you let the actor breathe and really do her thing or do you give her line readings? Also, do you find yourself saying “please” more often when directing her or do you just say, “Tilt your head to the left…” She could bring up that she had to give you an enema in the 4th grade and your entire credibility on your cardboard set would be dashed in a moment.
Dude: a movie, a TV show, and Page 43?!? Now I’m interested. Don’t take a vacation just yet.
