Very cool! The informal nature of the show works pretty well. It might work better just having people chat the questions in. The skype issues really do make it a little tough to follow the questions.
The answer to the writing question was really good. Excellent advice.
These guys are most likely your friends but they are not good interviewers. You can’t keep butting in when your guest tries to answer a question. Even you seemed to get frustrated “I’m so over this” “Lets wrap this up guys”. Amazingly you agreed to come back. That’s damn good composure.
These guys are friends of mine that just started doing this show. I commend anyone for doing something creative. They’ve gotten better with each show. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
Personally, I like the off-the-cuff conversational structure. It makes it fun to watch. The only time the interruptions became a little grating was during the call-ins, and that was mainly due to the five second delay. They just need to fix the Skype problems and they’ll be in good shape.
Okay, I know I’ve been like monopolizing your comments section lately but I just happened to see a part in the rerun I missed before due to the sound skipping… Is there any way to get that Scud MTV pilot script up online or do they own it or something? I would really love to read that!
Mr. Schrab, #24 was great! It really brought closure to the whole series, not just for fans but I’m sure for you as well. I was honestly expecting it to end as you described the original ending in the interview at the end of the book. Bravo, Man! I’m sad to see Scud end, but I’m very happy with how you ended the story. Thanks for everything!
You know what would be really cool? If that MTV pilot somehow made it’s way into the omnibus. I also loved the Slasher issue (the part where the dude gets impaled on the car door was awesome). But I do agree that the ending felt really rushed. It could have been longer. I liked the show, and the Lessons Learned video was funny shit.
thanks man,
looking forward to whatevers next.
Hey Rob, just got the new vlog up. There’s even some new animation in there amidst my ramblings.
